Dr. Shweta K Sharma has been trained in Pediatric Surgery from King George's Medical University , Lucknow under mentorship of Padmashree Professor S.N Kureel.

She has done her M.B.B.S from Patna Medical College and Hospital followed by her Masters degree in General Surgery from IMS –BHU, VARANASI ( Batch 2009-2012 ). She did her M.Ch in PEDIATRIC SURGERY: KING GEORGE’S MEDICAL UNIVERSITY, LUCKNOW (2012-2015). Thereafter, she joined as Senior Registrar: Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi under Prof Deepak Bagga. The hospital she has been trained in is among the highest volume center for Pediatric surgical training in India and among the top 10 university of India (BHU ranks 5 and KGMU ranks 7 as per the recent data of Medical University in India). These center handles the maximum number of surgical newborns, infants and children in the Government sector which provides myriad experience and skill development for treating the various surgical ailments in newborns and pediatric group of patients with good insight of in utero counselling for antenatally detected anomalies.

Thereafter, she got training in Basic Pediatric Laparoscopy from Dr Rasik Shah May 2019.

She worked in the private set up as Consultant Pediatric Surgeon and Visiting Pediatric Surgeon at various Corporate set up in Faridabad like Asian Hospital & Metro Hospital and Qrg Superspeciality hospital, Sarvodaya Hospital Faridabad(2017-2021).

Dr. Shweta K Sharma believes that She can do justice to her patients only by frequently updating herself because children are not just small adults and have medical and surgical problems and needs that are often quite different from those encountered by adult physicians. Infants and children deserve the very best medical care available.
